Chicken Pizza

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

To continue with my do-not-eat-out new years resolution I opted for the easy, delicious, way too many calories (or yummy points) to count on this lazy Tuesday. I made chicken pizza. Even though pizza was considered a peasants meal in Italy for centuries modern pizza has made way to be included in some pretty fancy restaurants all over the world. I used this recipe for the crust (note: not even I was able to mess this up).

For rest of it I followed this recipe. I added Cajun spices and the pizza was delicious.

What do you like on your pizza? What is your favorite place to order pizza from?

Lobster rolls.

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

One of my New Year changes is to stop eating out so much and start cooking. I m not the best cook but being Bosnian I had to learn how to cook at a very young age. Since I love seafood... well I love food period; I decided to try my hand at making lobster.
So I ran to the store and got everything I need including live lobsters. I used this recipe. I love simple and easy recipes, less chance for me to mess up.

This all went well until I had to put my moving future diner to cook. After dropping the lobster twice and screaming like a child I managed to get the lobster into water to cook.

Following rest of the recipe the rolls turned out wonderful.

My lovely brother aka my food critic gave them a thumbs up.

Let me know if you try it. I would love to hear your feedback.

Thursday, January 2, 2014

What are your New Years Resolution? I usually try and not make resolutions for new year, mainly because it's is a lot of pressure, plus who am I kidding- I m not going to the gym anyways.
However this year, I m gonna try and make few changes... So let's call them resolutions.

1) Do more yoga.
2) Say Please & Thank you more often.
3) Drink more water.
4) Don't color your hair.
5) Tell people you love them.
6) Learn how to sew.
7) Take an art class.
8) No buying things on impulse.
9) Post at least 3 blog posts a week.
10) Start writing that book...
