OOTD - Bringing sexy back

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

I am pretty much a girly-girl when it comes to fashion. Orange and pink are my favorite colors and if I could I would wear skirts and dresses all the time. Another thing I can’t usually leave the store without buying is skirts/dresses with pockets and backless anything. This shirt is one my all time favorite shirts, and not only because its pink & backless… it’s casual enough to wear with jeans and can easily be dressed up.
I wore this outfit on Saturday for dinner and drinks; I paired it up with simple pencil skirt and nude heels.

Who & What?

Tuesday, August 26, 2014

Hello my darlings,
How is this Tuesday going for you? I m drowning in paper work (but what’s new?), and no longer feel like being productive. When I started blogging (here), I had no idea what I was doing (still kind of learning!) but I learned fast that one of the main things is to meeting and connecting with other bloggers. I am always impressed with some bloggers social media accounts, like WOW good job guys! Since I am still in the early/learning stages of blogging, I would love to hear from you... What platform do you use for your blog? What editing software? Who takes your photos?
Since I am new to social media (my blog instagram was created 3 months ago) and I finally revamped my twitter to fit with my blog... I am interested in who do you follow? What blogs do you read daily?
I have always followed Cup of Jo (this blog is what inspired me to start writing in the first place), Kenza, WhoWhatWear along with Undeniably, me. , FashinNY and Over my styled body.
Now, I m looking to read more blogs & follow more people… so tell me: Who must I follow on Instagram and Twitter and what blogs do you recommend?

OOTD - Summer, please stay a little longer....

Wednesday, August 20, 2014

Last two days have been unseasonably cold, I m talking sweaters and scarves type of weather. In order to make most of what is left of summer I dressed up in some summer pinks and whites and headed for drinks on a patio with few friends.
This maxi skirt is one of my favourite skirt ever. Since I am so tall I have a hard time finding one that fits just right. I found this dress in some small shop in Bari, Italy and completely fell in love with it.

Edmonton Staycation

Friday, August 15, 2014

I travel a lot of work, and living out of a hotel is less fun then you’d imagine. One of my girlfriends was having a rather hard week but with all things considered getting away wasn’t an option. Then we though, we should have a “staycation”. I have read other bloggers who have had successful stays in their home towns and loved the idea of staying in a hotel in my city. This weekend we are planning a stay at Matrix Hotel, a beautiful modern hotel tucked right at the top of the river valley, and minutes from amazing shops and restaurants. We plan to experience Edmonton as a tourist and indulged in new restaurants, taking walks on new trails and maybe even getting few rounds of golf in.

Have you ever had a "staycation" in your own town? What are you plans this weekend?

OOTD - Black on Black

Thursday, August 14, 2014

I walked into work this morning and everyone was dressed in these beautiful summer colours; the most pretty pinks, blues and yellows, it truly brought life to our office.... and there I was dressed head to toe in black! I apparently didn't get the memo that outside my freezing air-conditioned office its summer and that colour is in.  It kind of made me feel like I didn't fit in, but black is my colour of choice, especially at work. I did add this kimono & purse as an attempt to some colour.
Pants: Mexx || Shirt: Garage || Shoes: Aldo || Purse: Just Fabb || Necklace: Spring || Sunglasses: Ray Ban || Kimono: Poerty

These pants are the most comfortable pants I have ever borrowed from my sisters closed. The relaxed fit and pockets make those pants an item my sister might never get back!
