OOTD-jeans & t-shirts

I have to dress up for work every day, so any time I get a chance to put on jeans and a t-shirt I am all for it. Finding a perfect pair of jeans is hard, but when you do find that one pair that fits like it was made for you, it has to be one of the best feeling ever. Since weather has been out of character for Edmonton, I try to get as many non fall outfits in. Cardigans and sweats can wait... for now.

Little red coat

For a while now I have been on a hunt for a perfect red coat. I visited department store after department store... I looked at every store I could think off, then I found one! As soon as I looked at the price tag I slowly back away. Even tho it was perfect at a hefty price tag $1200 for a coat, I just couldn't do it. Days latter my amazing parents brough this beauty over. Not the same coat but  non the less, a perfect red coat!

How was your Thanksgiving? I ate too much... way too much. On Sunday I wore this dress to a baby shower and later to dinner. It's lose fit was idea for dinner since it was my third dinner this weekend.

I am strong believer we should be thankful for everything we are fortunate to have year round.  Thanksgiving weekend is a great time to sit down and reflect on your life... and that is exactly what i will be doing.

OOTD - back to basics

Even tho fall is in full swing I am trying my hardest to hold onto summer. Scarfs are a perfect way to transition to fall. This Alexander McQueen scarf is probably my favourite scarf. I wear it with dresses to work or with a hoodie and jeans.

Since black is my signature colour adding this nautical purse is my way of add some excitement in my wardrobe. I found this dress while in Sarajevo last summer, its comfortable and my go to dress when I am having not so skinny day.

OOTD - WCFW

Any fashionista knows fall means fashion week. From New York to Paris to even Edmonton, fashion week takes September by storm and blows up  instagram and twitter feeds in the process. I have been a dreaming of one day attending New York Fashion Week, I have made it NYC during fashion week before (without attending shows) so older I get more of a goal this becomes.

For now I will have to settle for Western Canada Fashion Week; A place where the #yeg(Edmonton) fashion community together. I was more excited to see what everyone else attending was wearing, almost more excited then for the actual shows. I changed probably five times, and in the end decide on this dress. I had no idea I own very little fashion-show appropriate attire.

#firstworldproblem ... in world of a blogger

I have been blogging for about year and a half now, so I am still learning and trying to adopt. Finding a balance between my very demanding full time job and blogging is a day to day struggle. I have a hard time tuning time to post, and more importantly take photos that I can share with you. How do you guys do it? How do you manage your life and blog? 

I read this few weeks back, I laughed pretty hard because its so true.

How on point are those 19 things every blogger knows are true?

This list got me thinking about some blogging truths I found...

-Blogging is A LOT more work then people tell you. Those BIG time bloggers make it look too easy.

-Between figuring out what to write to photos to social media I feel that there should be a class. Blogging 101 where you at? I need this course.

-My mom is truly my biggest blog support (Hi, Mom :) )

-She is also, in most cases, my photographer

-Having to find sponsors and get though endless e-mails after spending 8 hours at work = no fun

-Writing a blog has improved my self confidence and public speaking skills. Its crazy what little support from you guys does for the self-esteem. (so THANK YOU)
