Fitness: Zumba

I think I may have mentioned this but I hate working out. I know, I know hate is such a strong word but in this case it is very necessary. I will do anything to get out of going to the gym, just ask my gym buddy. So finding things to keep fit that don't feel like torture is my goal aka running track, not my idea of fun. I'm not a hater if you love running, I am envious. I would love to find that enjoyable but between my boobs hitting my face and my lungs burning from the pain I just leave it to other people. 

Getting back to fitness activities that are fun and different, enter Zumba. Zumba is a dance fitness class. If you love dancing then this is the class for you, it's so much fun you don't feel like you're working out. For those who are coordinationally (yup just made that a word) challenged don't worry the routines are choreographed and are easy to follow along. There are many different types of Zumba classes from Zumba gold which is for the elderly, to Zumba toning which uses toning sticks, to Zumba Aqua which yup you guessed it, is done in a pool. I love this class because it's an hour long and you sweat like crazy and it really does feel like a workout but without the aforementioned torture element. It's like your out at the club with your crew (or if you're TSwift the squad) and you are just dancing to hip-hop or salsa music. The one difference, it's like a movie you all know the same steps, so if you've ever wanted to live out the choreographed spontaneous dance scene then check out Zumba.
