5 Places Where The Locals Eat in Edmonton

I am one of those people who start planning a trip to a new city by figuring out where I am going to eat. While people are planning things to do, site to see, I'm spending hours on Trip Advisor looking for must try places to eat. This post kicks off our very first local where to eat guide. Naturally we are starting with our own city, Edmonton. Let us know what you think.

One of my favorite places to grab sushi at in #YEG. I stumbled upon this place while going to University and it has been my go to place for years. Good service, cheap prices and delicious sushi.
Duchess Bake Shop.

Duchess is a very busy places on the weekend but totally worth the wait. Their dessert and pastries are to die for. Great place for lunch, and excellent place for coffee and quality sweets to munch on.

The farm-to-table concept enables outstanding quality, fresh and very tasty and delicious dishes. Amazing service with warm and welcoming atmosphere.

&27 is located on Whyte Ave, with modern and open concept interior. The service is always good, food delicious and their extensive drink menu makes sure there is something for everyone's taste.
El Cortez Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar

El Cortez provides a unique dining experience. The bright neon signs and graffiti wall d├ęcor, wicked atmosphere, with delicious food (highly recommend the cauliflower) and fun drink menu make for a great time.
