How was your New Years? How did you ring in 2016? I spent the night eating my weight in seafood and drinking considerable amount of wine while playing cards against humanity. New year means a great time to reconsider things and make some resolutions.

  1. Read more. I used to read all the time, than over last couple of years I slowed down, in last few months of 2015 I barely read at all. I committed to reading 15 books, you can join me in my challenge on Goodreads.
  2. Do more yoga. I got into Bikram yoga few years back and absolutely loved it. It was the only was I could effectively shut my mind completely. Over time I tried different styles of yoga and ended at Moksha, which is my favourite. 2016 will definitely include more yoga.
  3. De-clutter. I mean this literally and figuratively speaking; from things I own, to mental things like being horrible and hard on myself. 
  4. Focus on the blog. June 2015 signified the official start of Letters to LA LA land as a life and style blog vs. Nermisa's adventures. 2016 will mean regular posting schedule, new content and new collaborations. 
  5. Spend more time outside. Living in Canada, this will be challenging as winter lasts for like ever, fine, five months, but to a person who is cold all the time winter seems to last forever. However, spending fifteen twenty minutes a day outside is the goal.
