I have lived in Edmonton for almost fourteen years! Although some days it feels like I just got here, this city never ceases to amazes me with place to visit and things to do. Everyone has their favorite go to place or a hidden gem they like to visit today I am sharing a few places to visit in Edmonton this summer:
High Level Bridge and Street Cars:
Take a walk over the bridge during the day for amazing views of the city, or come back at night to see the bridge all light up. Rumor has it the lights dance on Canada Day. You can also take a street car ride over the high level bridge and the river.
River Valley:
You can walk for hours, and explore the river valley... it gives you an illusion that for a second you are no longer in the city.
If you are looking to eat at different places here are a few places that your taste buds will thank you for visiting:
Izakaya Tomo: The main focus of an Izakaya is drinking rather than eating full course meals
Mill Creek Café: Amazing platters, good food and homey atmosphere
Tres Carnales Taqueria: Possibly the best Mexican food in town
I love Sushi: One of my favorite places to visit for sushi. Well priced and delicious.
