Frozen Yogurt Cups

Thursday, December 8, 2016

I love food as much as the next gal; ok maybe more, however I find each new year I try finding healthier alternatives when it comes to food. You all heard that saying "Life is short, have dessert first", I strongly believe  in that,  therefor I started looking for some heathy desserts.
Cue, frozen yogurt fruit cups. These are simple to make, and delicious; also healthy.
Ingredients:
-2 cups low-fat plain yogurt
-2 tablespoon finely grated orange rind
-2 1/2 cups fretted mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
-fresh mint springs

How to:
-Cut the bigger fruits into small pieces.
-Mix the yogurt and grated orange rind in a large bowl, then add the fruit to the yogurt mix.
-Line a 12 cup muffin pan with muffin cups.
-Fill the cups and freeze for at least two hours (in the freezer at the highest temperature).
-Decorate with fresh fruit and mint and enjoy.
