Must See TV

Tuesday, January 16, 2018

2018 has started off great with a lot of really good TV shows. There are so many new and exciting things to watch, I love variety so I have chosen every genre, I do favour comedies but dramas have made the list as well. Margaret Atwood is killing it this year first Handmaid's Tale which will have a second season and now Alias Grace another Margaret Atwood book turned into an mini series. With so many new shows it was hard to pick but here are my top 5 picks.

Alias Grace-Based on the award-winning novel by Margaret Atwood and inspired by true events, in 19th-century Canada, a psychiatrist weighs whether a murderess should be pardoned due to insanity.
Grown-ish- From the creators of Black-ish comes Grown-ish Zoey Johnson goes to college and deals with issues learning how to live outside the nest. We see her struggles as she deals with drugs, sex, and relationships.

The Resident- Logan from Gilmore Girls is in this, I don't even care what its about I will watch it anyway. I LOVE HIM! okay but if you really want to know its about an idealistic young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine.
LA to Vegas- It's a show about a flight that you guessed it goes from LA to Vegas and back again. It's a comedy and the preview looks pretty funny, so have a look and decide for yourself.

The Chi- I love to broaden people horizons and suggest shows some people wouldn't consider or even know about. This show looks really good its about A fateful turn of events sends shockwaves through a community on the Southside of Chicago and connects the lives of Emmett, Brandon, Ronnie and Kevin in unexpected ways. Watch the trailer and decide for yourself.

What are you watching? What do you think should have made the list?

  2. I am going to give The Resident a shot. I'm a fan of Emily VanCamp, but another hospital show is risky.
