Spicy Chicken Dip

Friday, January 12, 2018

My sister and my parents love entertaining (and I mean LOVE) so I get to try out new recipes all the time (while hiding in the kitchen eating so I don't have to socialize). My mom was having people come over and did her famous stand and stare at the fridge till an idea come to you things. She has an uncanny ability to take items in the fridge and pantry and just make stuff. I need 3 recipe books, a detailed shopping list and a day of preparation to come up with something delicious.  She made a spicy chicken dip with things she has in the fridge, or staples as she calls them, and it was delicious.
Here is what you need:
two chicken breast
1/2 cup of Ranch
1/2 a package of cream cheese
1/2 Hot Sauce (mom recommend Franks Hot Sauce)
1/2 cheddar cheese
1 thing of green onions (chopped)
Here is how you make it:
Heat oven to 350
Bake chicken, season to taste. Once cooked, shred the chicken.
In a bowl mix chicken, cheese, ranch, hot sauce until well blended.
Pour mixture into an oven safe dish
Bake for 15 minutes (until the mixture is heated through aka cheese has melted)
Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
