As a blogger and someone who loves fashion, each year I find
myself straggling to find a perfect outfit for the holidays. Each years, I find
myself in a stores surrounded by sparkling sequin skirts, dresses
and bright red items, thinking "well this won't work.". More often than not,
especially during the holidays, I find myself on the conservative side. (Last
four holidays parties I ended showing up in a version of a LBD!) I do admire the over-the-top styles, and ladies that can rock them but my
comfort lies with simple basics. So
what's a conservative gal to do? Wear yet another LTD and call it a day?
Being conservative doesn't mean boring. Here are few tips for dressing up as a Conservative Gal:
- Accessories' can change any outfit. So play up your simple black dress with fun accessories. A gold clutch, or a bright shoe, fun nylons can take any outfit from basic to a show stopper.
- Wearing dark colors during the holidays is ok. If black is your go to color, maybe try navy or dark grey.
- Bright lip color might be only color you need.
