Thursday, December 14, 2017

If you follow Letters to La La Land on instragram, you know that one of my things is that I am always hungry. Sometimes I start thinking what I am gonna have for dinner, while still eating lunch. Its a true story not just a meme you see going around. I love all food, but appetizers and all food that can be served during brunch is my favorite. We have a girlsmas get together every December filled with delicious food, gifts, good wine and even better friends. Each year everyone makes something do bring, this year I made few appetizers, and there Baked Crab Wontops went over very well.
Here is what you will need:
1 crab (200 grams of crab meat) chopped
1/4 mayo
box of wonton papers
150 grams of cream cheese
1 green onion chopped
1 tea spoon of saffron (this is optional)
Here is how to make it:
Heat oven to 350.
In a bowl mix crab, mayo, cream cheese, green onions and saffron. Mix well.
In a greased muffin pan (or cupcake pan) depending on the desired size you want, place one wonton wrapper with edges of the paper place over the rim. Fill each wonton with mixture.
Bake for 20 minutes or till edges of wontons are golden brown.
Sprinkle with green onions or saffron (optional), and serve.
