To Be or Not to Be - 2019 Resolutions

Thursday, December 27, 2018

2018 was a little bit of an unpredictable mess which got me thinking that starting on my new years resolutions a little early probably is not a bad idea, especially considering that I barely made a dent at some things I wanted to do last year. I would love to hear from you and know what your resolutions are. Here is what I m going to work on in 2019.
Getting back to fit-ish me!

I haven't made a fitness or a health related resolution in quite some time because I'm very lazy and love eating things that are not good for me (like donuts for breakfast) . 2018 was a little bit of a challenging year emotionally, so a few people have recommended getting back into working out (or drinking) - so guys, I m getting a gym membership.

My goal is to make it to the gym at least two times every week. I know that for most people 2 times is not enough BUT for someone who canceled their gym membership last year and hasn't done much of like anything in last few years, twice a week is a start.

Tied into my fit-ish me resolution, mostly because bodies are made in the kitchen, will be to make lunch. I spend so much time at work and because I am lazy I end up eating things that are horrible for me. I am gonna shoot for 5/5 lunches brought from home, those are on average bound to be healthier than what I can buy.

And lastly, I am going to try and get back to intermittent fasting. If you remember this post, Steph, Zahra and I tried intermittent fasting and all 3 saw results in about a month. I didn't necessarily see results when it comes to my weight but it made a world of difference in curbing cravings and being more conscientious about having food late at night.

I would love to hear your best tips and tricks for actually sticking with your resolutions - especially fitness and health related ones.
